The Colours are Brighter (formerly TAG Kidz) is an independent children’s store run by Mum and Dad team Mich + Dave Cann. Showcasing whimsical and colourful design for the whole family, we offer a thoughtful collection of fashion, accessories, decor, toys, books, and curious bits and pieces for babies, children and tweens.

The Colours are Brighter celebrates the vibrancy, creativity and joy of childhood. We loving mixing the best contemporary kids design with a little nostalgia and a lot of fun. We love imaginary friends, jumping in puddles, wearing gumboots with tutus and bow ties with board shorts, we think underpants are funny and unicorns are real.

Our store is brimming with the best kids finds from Australia and beyond, and we love suporting small Australian makers, designers and brands, so there's always something fabulous and special to give your little loved one.

We're a real bricks and mortar store with a big fluffy rainbow rug for your little folk to play on, and sometimes we play Mary Poppins and blow bubbles.
